Love Korea festival and KBEE 2019 in Thailand

                Every year Korea Tourism Organization in Thailand host a Korea tourism fair for people who love to travel to Korea as free independent travelers (FIT) which is called Love Korea festival. This time it is more special because there is also Korea Brand and Entertainment Expo, KBEE 2019.
             

               KBEE is the place where business and cultural exchanges take place, together with Hallyu celebrities and Korean culture such as K-POP, K-dramas, fashion, beauty and etc.. With business consulting sessions, exhibition, diverse events and performances, KBEE contributes to the establishment of bilateral friendship between Korean and the host country. KBEE has brought K-wave to many countries around the world such as Japan, England, China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Indonesia. The K-POP boy band, WINNER and the beautiful actress, Song Ji Hyo are Honorary Ambassadors of KBEE 2019 Bangkok.








                For the Opening Ceremony of KBEE 2019 Bangkok, there was a Korea-Thai Friendship Concert. Those who had tickets enjoyed the Song Ji-Hyo's interview and amazing WINNER's performance. There were many fans of them who were waiting for them at the airport and the concert hall. Moreover, there were also Thai singers, Rose Quartz group and Kacha Nontanun performing in the concert. There were also WINNER and Song Ji Hyo fansign event for the lucky fans on the second day of the festival.




                The K-POP Cover Dance Festival, another main activity that attendees looked forward to was on the second day. Every dance cover teams are so talents and got round of applause for their efforts.  There were also great performances from Thai singers, Gam the Star and TAO STP who won the singing contest a few years ago and became famous singers later.







                Outside the concert hall, there were many booths and activities you could enjoy. There were K-Beauty Full Life Festival by Song Ji Hyo which you could experience various beauty and lifestyle hot spots with her. YG PLUS booth was designed with augmented reality zone. You would enjoy having great photos with your favorite YG artists. Fan could also buy some favorite K-POP merchandises in the booth. One of the boot that could not be missed in this festival was Moonshot, a cosmetic brand from YG Plus that has Lisa from BLACKPINK, a famous K-POP girl group, as their ambassador. Lisa is quite popular here because she is Thai.



                There were many exhibition booths and other programs at Mini Stage such as K-Food cooking show, Makeup Show with a Korea make-up artist Jun Woo, Korea Tourism Organization Talk Show with the special guests sharing their travel experiences in Korea, KOCCA_Pinkfong Concert for children, and Huyndai Home–shopping Live Show.




                Like almost every Love Korea festival, there were was try-on Hanbok and Korean traditional craft experiences. Jagae craft was the one chosen for this festival. Jigae is the name of fine mother of pearl artwork. I had no time to try it but I have experienced of Jagae craft in Korea and I love doing it. Those two activities are all free.




                Last but not least, as usual, there were a lot of Korea booths from JellaNamdo tourism, Korean airline, travel agencies, and tour operators to showcase and give advice about their services and products for people interested in visiting Korea. Korea Tourism Organization had a service booth for those who want to consult or ask about their Korea trip plan as well.
