My Relaxing Head Spa Experience at Lee Moon Won Clinic

It was time for K-Wellness. We went to Lee Moon Won Korean Medicine Clinic (이문원 한의원) in Gangnam. This clinic is famous for taking care of the scalp and hair. This is not just a regular spa. This clinic is very respected. It has recently been named an "Excellent Wellness Tourism Destination" for 2024-2025 by the Ministry of Culture and Korea Tourism Organization, and they have 11 patents for treating hair loss. The clinic has worked for over 20 years and welcomes thousands of people from other countries every year.

It combines the wisdom of traditional Korean hair care with natural healing products and the knowledge of Dr. Lee Moon Won, who is a famous hair loss specialist. This makes the treatment unique. The products use safe ingredients from Korean plants, like trees from Jeju Island.

The experience started with a detailed check-up. First, I filled out a questionnaire form to give the doctor information. Next, they used a microscope and a special system (Hair Diagnosis System HDM) to analyze my scalp. They checked everything: the thickness of my hair, oil production, the condition of my hair follicles, and if there was any inflammation or hair thinning. All the data went straight to the doctor. She looked at the results and then talked to me personally to explain the real reasons for my hair concerns.

Then came the main part: the Healing Head Spa. This specific program is a 60-minute Spa Therapy that includes the Scalp Analysis and Hair Dry Styling.

This therapy focuses on gentle exfoliation and deep cleansing of the scalp. The goal is to remove dead skin cells, excess sebum, and product buildup that can clog hair follicles. It's ideal for anyone with an oily scalp, mild dandruff, or just wanting to completely refresh their scalp health.

The hair treatment was absolutely amazing! I usually have to wash my hair every day, but after this, my hair stayed clean for much longer. My scalp felt super fresh and detoxified, and my hair looked much shinier too! The whole process was very quiet and relaxing. I didn’t take many photos because I almost fell asleep right there! It was the perfect, deep rest that my body really needed.

This visit was great because it showed me the real Korean approach to health and prioritizing well-being. The quality of this Head Spa program was so high, it made me understand why it’s recognized as a top wellness experience here in Korea. It was the perfect rest I needed before going back home.
